Originally when I was working on a theme for Cody, I wanted it to be some hardboiled horn piece. But the more I worked on it, the more I realized that represented who he wanted to be, not who he was.

I realized since Cody prides himself on professionalism, he wouldn't be so crass as to alter the BGM to his own theme while doing his job. Thus, if he had a theme, it'd be something you'd only hear when he was done with his work.

The combination of turntablism and acoustic guitar sounds were meant to give the track a downtempo feel, like a hard day's work had been finished early.
